Visual Importer Professional 7.7.2.9

Visual Importer Professional automates the process of loading data into any database. It enables the user to design Import, Export and SQL scripts, add them to the package and schedule it for execution on regular basis. All objects are stored in the repository. Supported repository types include MS Access (default repository), Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Typically Visual Importer Professional is used to download files from an FTP server, load them into the database, run stored procedure or SQL script and send email to the admin, once the package is completed. Unlike Oracle SQL loader, BCP, DTS or SSIS, Visual Importer Professional can also add new and update old records based on the key defined by user.
Let’s say, for example, you work for Retail Company with 200 shops. Every morning you receive Excel files with total sales from every store via email and would like to load them into the Data warehouse. Visual Importer Professional can help you automate data processing without the need for more staff in the shops and in the company HQ. It will enable you to process data sent via email and FTP without any intervention. Simply create a dedicated email account, design a package and that’s it - start processing data!
Visual Importer Professional loads data from multiple delimited or fixed width text files, multiple Excel files and Excel spreadsheets, multiple MS Access databases and tables, multiple DBF files, multiple tables, MS SQL Server and any ODBC compliant database. The program can load data into Oracle 7-10g database, SQL server 7- 2005, any ODBC compliant database.
Every package execution is logged. In case of errors, Visual Importer writes a detailed message into the log and writes a record into the rejected records file.
The Enterprise version includes execution agent which can be run as a Windows service.
