| USMProLib is a Java library that provides a Java interface for working with the Short Message Service (SMS and EMS). USMProLib enables sending and receiving of messages using a mobile phone connected to the computer through COM interface. Communication between computer and mobile phone can be established by using COM, USB or IrDA connections. The phone musr support GSM phase II standard. USMProLib API provides message sending, receipt and processing , as well as acknowledgement reports receipt. USMProLib supports Unicode symbols and can compose the text of the messages in any language. Additional features are uploading pictures and melodies from file, saving received pictures and melodies into file (BMP and MIDI formats). Simple GUI application for sending and receiving of SMS and EMS with the source Java code is included into release. Library should be useful for independent SMS service creation, mobile mailing lists delivery or sw applications SMS expansion. |
