| With UFS Explorer you may browse most used file systems and extract files from there. Now it supports UFS/UFS2 (BSD), ReiserFS/Ext2/Ext3 (Linux), HFS+/HFSx (MacOS) as well as FAT and NTFS. It supports physical disks, including USB mass storage devices and set of virtual disks: VMWare, MS Virtual PC, MacOS .DMG (both raw and 'chunked' with ZLIB compression) and plain RAW disks image files. Key features: * Read-only access to: - Linux Reiser/Ext2/Ext3 file systems; - BSD UFS/UFS2 filesystems; - Apple MacOS X HFS+/HFSX as well as MacOS byte-swapped UFS/UFS2; - NTFS and FAT12/FAT16/FAT32 with LFN (may be useful for disk image files). * Files recovery/extraction (for files larger then 16k - available after registration); * Preserve file modification dates on files extraction; * Explorer-like filesystem browsing with 3 file views: 'Large icons', 'Small icons' and 'Details'; * Symbolic links browsing, object properties and other utility features; * Smart file system caching with with fast files access; * File search support; * Files extraction from disk images! Supports: - VMWare 3,4,5 hard disk image files; - RAW disk image files; - Both RAW and 'chunked' Apple MacOS disk image files (.DMG) with ZLIB compression support;. * Folder/object group extraction; * Hard-disk auto-detection; * Partitions auto-detection basing on: - DOS partitioning; - *BSD slices; - Apple Mac OS partition maps; - Windows Dynamic Disk LDM databases. * Partitions probing: detect correct filesystem if partition label is invalid; * Hardware changes re-scan; opened devices management. |
