gForms is a software toolkit that will allow a programmer to easily embed Microsoft's® Internet Explorer in their own applications without using any complicated or verbose programming techniques.
A standard problem with all high level languages is it’s time consuming and difficult to build quality, robust user interfaces. On the other hand, with HTML+CSS it’s easy to create stunning colorful screens and high definition output but the ability to control the user’s navigation is next to impossible without miles of unmanageable spaghetti code. A user in a traditional web application can easily leave the current screen before input validation has occurred. Printing with a high level language is difficult due to the programmer having to manage a number of fonts, printer resolutions, and the endless reams of paper spent trying to debug printout code. Printing from a web application is unattractive as IE places its own header on every printed page and margin control is almost non existent.
gForms blends the power and control of higher level languages and HTML to provide the end user a rich and controlled user experience. gForms does not use any libraries such as .NET, or MFC, gForms uses only the components that were installed with the operating system. This guarantees your applications will have fast load times and will continue to operate irregardless to what the end user has installed on their systems or whatever changes Microsoft might make to their frameworks in the future. |
