KingDownloads is a content directory. We have no user accounts, run no checkout, and keep data collection to the minimum required to operate and improve the site.

What this site is

KingDownloads publishes download links, version history and factual summaries for open-source software. You can browse everything without signing in — we do not offer or require an account.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not run user accounts, logins or profiles.
  • We do not process payments or store payment details.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade any data about you.

Information processed automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may process basic technical data needed to deliver pages and protect against abuse — for example your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is standard server and CDN logging and is used for security, debugging and aggregate traffic measurement.

Analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool to understand which pages are useful (for example, total page views per article). Where used, such analytics are configured to avoid tracking individuals across sites and do not build advertising profiles. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.
