## Dayflow Pro + New referral system - earn $20 when you refer your friends! ### Highlights - Thank you to everyone who already signed up for Dayflow Pro! - We want Dayflow Pro to be an accessible option for everyone, but understand that not everyone can afford it. We set up a referral system so you can earn $20 of Dayflow credit for every friend you refer to Dayflow. You can find more details in Settings > Account. - Dayflow will remain open source. We believe in creating open, accessible software for everyone. Dayflow Pro is there for people who want the simplest setup and maximum intelligence. ### Improvements - Daily got smarter about standups: it now lists standups across days, skips days you've already used in a recap, and no longer generates empty recap drafts. - Weekly polish: idle time is now excluded from the time-distribution donut, and you can download charts directly with new inline download buttons. - Refined the menu bar icon sizing and artwork.

### Fixes - Fixed a crash in the Weekly Sankey diagram when a real category collided with the "Other" bucket — thanks @pagarsky for the contribution (#271). - Gemini now prefers the 3.5 Flash model and handles missing models more gracefully by falling back instead of failing. - Updated Gemini setup copy in onboarding.

## New Weekly View Now Available ### Highlights - We're experimenting with a new Weekly view that helps you understand your time at a higher level. - We haven't tested it with a huge variety of data, so please send in reports if something looks weird or off. - Lastly, it would be immensely helpful if you could offer some feedback on the new goals feature.

## Set goals for your day ### Highlights - Dayflow is evolving from helping you understand your time to helping you improve how you spend it. - We're starting with daily focus targets: choose what counts as focus, set a distraction limit, and track your progress as the day unfolds. - Dayflow also has a cleaner visual system, with more readable text and a calmer, more consistent feel throughout the app. - Daily goal reminders can be turned off anytime in Settings.

## Privacy controls for your timeline ### Highlights - You can now choose specific apps Dayflow should hide from recording. - Open Settings -> Privacy and pick the apps you never want captured.

### Highlights - Dayflow now detects when screen recording permission has been lost and shows a recovery notice instead of failing silently. ### Improvements - Timeline reliability: stale day loads are discarded, failed cards without retry sources are filtered out, and retry status is more accurate. - Week cards no longer flicker when returning to the day view or across reloads. - Lots of internal cleanup for stability and energy efficiency.

### Fixes - Fixed a Claude Code 2.x crash caused by PTY window sizing — thanks @joceqo for the contribution (#258). - Codex now retries with a clean environment when it hits an invalid transport error. - Mini distraction cards now stay inside their parent card in Daily. ### Improvements - Settings got a visual refresh: cleaner sidebar, restyled recording status and disk usage, and simplified export/reprocess flows. - The Weekly Sankey diagram now builds from live week data with improved ordering and ribbon styling.

## A new Week view for your timeline ### Highlights - We've started rolling out a new Week view for your main timeline. - You can now step back and scan your week at a glance. We're still refining the Week view, so if you notice bugs or rough edges, please reach out. We'd love your feedback. - Codex-powered flows in Dayflow now use newer GPT-5.4 models.
